Form Builder Cannot Send Email Via SMTP

Hi. I moved a website to the final server, so it will be live. This server doesn't support PHP mail but SMTP, so I used Form Builder in contact page. But I cannot make it work. It doesn't send the message. The email i use works fine in Joomla Global Configuration - Server Settings.

In Form Builder, I use the same email in recipient and from email fields.

Hello Christos

Apology for the inconvenience. Please share your administrator access here to check the issue. Use the Hidden Content box to share the credentials. Make sure that you have a full site backup with you before sharing.

Best regards

Hi, Yesterday was a Holiday in Greece so I didn't see your message. Find the credentials in the hidden content box.

But please, I have an opened ticket with Rashida since 3 weeks and I didn't get any answer. If you login to this website please check the following 2 issues because I have to complete this project and give it to my client for use.

The featured Button. When in menu choose to display courses you have the choice of all or featured courses in item type field. https://prnt.sc/3OBVynb32mFB but in any course the featured button doesn't save it. https://prnt.sc/ROcob_qyKgmS. So I cannot have featured courses.

and

When I choose teachers for a course I cannot choose who is the first. For example someone is the main teacher and the others are supporting. If I choose all teachers the main could be 3d, 4th etc. This is not right.

Please check something that I just noticed. In teachers, I use Website field to input the webex link for the teacher. But for this on https://2dim-vriliss-new.att.sch.gr/administrator/index.php?option=com_spkgarten&view=teacher&layout=edit&id=27 if i use https:/webexlink when saving i get the error

Save failed with the following error: Data too long for column 'website' at row 1

If i remove the "s" from https, it saves ok.

Please try it with PHP Mail instead of SMTP and then check your issue.

Hi Ofi Khan, as I wrote in my first post

This server doesn't support PHP mail but SMTP, so I used Form Builder in contact page

Why did you say to try PHP Mail? I read in 2 or 3 questions that you suggested to use the Form Builder for SMTP email. And so I did. So is it possible to work with Form Builder or not?

And of course check the other 3 issues that I mentioned in #152118 and #152126.

It seems that the form builder is making the emails hang or very slow when you hit the send button. Christos maybe you are having the same problem?

Did you end up fixing your issue?

Hi George. No, in my website the form builder didn't send any email. I just disabled the contact form. But try to read this https://www.joomshaper.com/forum/question/27242 Maybe you will find a solution.
