I am not sure if that help, but... please TRY:

1. Download SPPB 5.2.9 again.
2. Install it.
3. Clear Joomla cache.
4. Using back-end editor open addon settings,
5. Set width and height values for that image (!)
6. Save addon changes
7. Preview the page
8. If no success - Add new image addon - choose the same svg image, set height, save and preview.

Unfortunately it does not work. The sizing information is not responding either. Not even with a *.png. Should I install SPPB 5.2.8 again? Is it even possible to reinstall an older version?

I have now added a *.png, as the site is already online.

Do not install old versions please!! Do not make bigger mess that you may have.

I understand. I don't do that.

I reinstalled component, and seems to be OK for png, but you have to put width value here

Now I will test with .svg

I have other pages that have the same configuration. I'll probably better work with 5.2.8 there for a moment, right?
