Unable To Edit In Frontend Editor

SP Page Builder 1 year ago

Hi Am unable to edit with frontend editor, there is no Edit icon in Pages but there is a Frontend Editor button on every Page record which always loads the same page (Staff Login) when clicked, the page can only be viewed and cannot be edited. I can Preview and Edit with backend editor but not with frontend editor. I am running Joomla 5.1.0, SP Page Builder 5.3.2, Helix Ultimate 2.1.9 (Compressed CSS Files and Compress Javascript Files are both disabled). I tried clearing Joomla Cache, re-installing Page Builder 5.3.2 and updated JCE Editor to 2.9.72 but made no difference.

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused by this oversight. I have checked your front end editing issue and it works fine.

Hello Jerome Wee

Which page are you unable to edit on the frontend? I have checked and it is working fine for the pages.

Best regards

Hmm...that's strange. I tried Edge, Firefox and Chrome and also logged in with your credentials but I am unable to edit all pages.

I noticed that the URL of your frontend editor is https://arf.com.sg/component/sppagebuilder/edit/2 where as mine, when I click on Frontend Editor button, it always tries to go http://arf.com.sg/about-arf/edit/58 but gets redirected to https://www.arf.com.sg/staff-login?return=aW5kZXgucGhwP29wdGlvbj1jb21fc3BwYWdlYnVpbGRlciZ2aWV3PWZvcm0mbGF5b3V0PWVkaXQmdG1wbD1jb21wb25lbnQmaWQ9NTg=.

Can you show me a screenshot of SP Page Builder>Pages, I don't have the Edit icon to get to the frontend editor. https://prnt.sc/pdp602SM6ElJ

Clicking the Frontend Editor button in Pages always takes me to Staff Login page view which I can't edit. https://prnt.sc/L3r-mpuoB1wC

Before editing front end. You should login first to edit from the front end. I hope now it's clear. Thanks for understanding. :)
