URGENT Support Required : Multiple Ongoing Issues With EasyStore And Orbit Template

I've been building a new site for a few weeks now using Joomla, EasyStore, PageBuilder & Orbit template.

I'm not a novice at Joomla and have numerous other sites running it.

However - I'm STILL facing numerous issues with Orbit & EasyStore - issues which continue to go unanswered and which are preventing me from launching the site.

Unless these issues can get resolved in the next few days, I WILL be requiring a refund and will use other Joomla extensions and templates to create this site. The ongoing lack of support, missing features, and incomplete support answers are NOT ACCEPTABLE!

  1. EasyStore default images are not displaying correctly. <-- this can NOT be fixed by hardcoding my site URL
  2. Breadcrumbs are not displaying on pages which do not have "Enable Page Title" set in menu items. This is incorrect Joomla behaviour and needs fixing
  3. EasyStore breadcrumbs are incorrect. For example, I get <site>\Shop\Shop\Category\Product\Shop shown on product pages
  4. There's no obvious way to make EasyStore create Joomla user accounts, despite there being an email response for such within EasyStore
  5. User Menu (which is set via menu.php in template) does not display correctly on small screens - e.g. mobiles - exactly where it is needed - FIXED
  6. EasyStore "filter" element looses categories - if you are in a category then NONE are displayed in the category picker and so it is impossible to go to a higher level category
  7. Only 1 level of category is correctly supported in EasyStore - I can not access sub-categories, nor correctly list products in them
  8. Why does "remember these details" not create a Joomla account when ordering as a guest?
  9. Account creation page redirects to a blank page
  10. User menu (within the template) re-directs to the Joomla profile page on login - it is not obvious which random file needs to be edited to correct this

I'm sure there's more - but so far, NONE of the above have been resolved!

Thank you for your answers - however some are not correct or are incomplete:

3) YES - I need the breadcrumbs displaying incorrectly in EasyStore to be fixed. I do not want to be waiting for a future update! 4) I want CUSTOMERS to be able to create their OWN account during the checkout process for EasyStore - AS VIRTUALLY EVERY OTHER ONLINE SHOP SYSTEM CAN DO 5) Not answered at all! 6) Not answered at all - this is something you need to address in EasyStore code! 7) This relates to 4) - THERE NEEDS TO BE A WAY FOR A GUEST TO PLACE AN ORDER AND HAVE A JOOMLA AND EASYSTORE ACCOUNT CREATED FOR THEM 8) Relates to 4) and 7) 9) None of my other Joomla sites redirect to a blank page on account creation - so not answered!

  1. Please install this version on your site (in the hidden content). Breadcrumbs issue will be fixed.
  2. Not possible for now.
  3. You marked it as fixed.
  4. Please explain the issure more.
  5. Not possible for now. If the user registers on the site before the order placement, then they can become the customer.
  6. I have checked Casseopeia and found the same behavior. However, we will improve this in the future and you will have an option to choose the redirect link.

THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!

  1. Breadcrumbs issue is NOT fixed in this latest update - it is only partially fixed! PLEASE take time to understand the actual issue before claiming fixes! (see 1st & 2nd screenshot below) As expected - this update BREAKS my issue with default product images AGAIN. (see 3rd screenshot below)

  1. This is a very much required function - WHEN WILL THIS BE ADDED?

  2. You've changed numbers (was originally 6) and ignored the issue! Try setting up more than one category level and then TRY to navigate between categories using the EasyStore filter / category picker tool.

  3. (new 6) This is related to 5) - you basically haven't done ANY quality checking on EasyStore before releasing. IT IS NOT YET FIT FOR COMMERCIAL USE, YET YOU ARE CHARGING FOR IT

  4. Relates to 4 - Please explain WHY you have an email template in EasyStore for a function that doesn't exist???? (customer account creation is NOT possible for customers)

I have not found this issue. If you go to any category page, then there is no back opton. If it is your issue, then it will not be not considered. It is the normal behavior. If you have other issue, then please share a screenshot of your issue to understand it better. Take a screenshot and share via any platform. For example: Lightshot or Imgur

STILL waiting for a sensible reply regarding the breadcrumbs issue. You've had admin details for my site numerous times so shouldn't need them again.

You also need to start understanding when users request features you can't just ignore them!

I've been waiting 2 WEEKS NOW for you to resolve these issues. This is nothing like good customer service!

The feature you have asked for will not be added now. The team will review it and it might be added in the future. Adding a new feature takes time. We need to check the use case and functionality of the new feature. We also check that it does not break any existing functionality. The team takes your suggestion seriously and will act to it. But it will require time so that we can deliver it in working shape.

Please go to this location:

components/com_easystore/src/View/Products

and replace HtmlView.php file with the attached file. You need to unzip the file and then replace.

HtmlView.php.zip

The breadcrumb issue will be fixed.

Added: I see you've "updated" EasyStore on my site and REINTRODUCED another bug!

Your attempts at support are seriously lacking and NOT WHAT IS EXPECTED!

FIX WHAT YOU HAVE BROKEN (because of another BUG in your product)!

Product image was not loading until variant is picked. I have installed the fixed version on your site. It has been solved along with breadcrumb issue.
