SP Page Builder 1 year ago

Hi,

I would like my users to be able to use the SP Page Builder to edit their articles and pages from the FE without logging into the BE. This is possible as long as the page was once opened in BE and switched to Page Builder, but not directly when the article is created from the FE. Where can I change that. Thanks

Thanks for your answer, but I dont think that it has todo with the access rights - since it also happens with a full admin user. As you can see in the video.

Could you kindly grant me access to your Joomla administrator area so that I can investigate the issue you're experiencing? Prior to providing access, please ensure that you have backed up your site. Additionally, it's important to note that providing login credentials is entirely voluntary on your part; we respect your decision either way. However, if you do choose to share the login details, it would greatly expedite the resolution process. Thank you for your cooperation.

Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

You only can edit your page builder article from the front end. There is no way to create an article from the front end using Page Builder. Thanks

I bought that plugin so my users can style their articles with it. If that is not possible for users to use - without an admin to change the article to PageBuilder first - its useless. I cannot give every user access to the admin page - and yes I know how to set the rights ...

I know that I can do that. But that still requires my editors to login to the Backend. Which is way more complex - then just creating a new article and editing it directly in the FE ( which is the workflow they are used to from other Editors like JCE )

But I understand that this feature is not supported. So we might reconsider using SPPageBuilder. You can consider this issue closed
