Hi, i do need to set publishing and unpublishing date for some elements in page builder. Is this possible? Working with Joomla Articles is not an option for what i need it.

Why i need it? e.g. Discount campaign, closing days, holiday announcement

Hi Marius.

Rows (Sections) nor Addons do not have such a feature, but core modules yes.

So set & publish Module in Template module position, above or below SPPB component area and then it will work. In Helix Ultimate based templates you can use for example:

  • content-top
  • content-bottom

Easy way, no hacks.

Advanced Module Manager (RegularLabs) can give you even more settings for modules (Assignments / Rule Types: Seasons, Months, Days of the week, Time). But must be used in Template Module position, NOT inside Module addon to make it work!

Thank you for the quick reply. Unfortunately, the suggested options are not a good solution for me. Holidays have to be near opening times, promotions in the middle of the page and not at the top or bottom.

I have now used a simple Joomla module and stored it in the page builder. It would of course be nicer if you could set the time for the add-ons with all their effects so that you can use the full range of functions and not just a simple Joomla module.

Would it be possible to introduce this function in the future?

or, alternatively, some local developer can make you your own addon with a time option.

or, you can hide some information using custom CSS in the specified time (day).

ad 2) Custom CSS module can be used for that, published in debug poistion. I know little bit crazy idea... but I used that in the past.

Thanks for the additional ideas.

But I would prefer the simple way, true to the Pagebuilder motto: An extremely powerful drag & drop tool that lets you build sites visually and instantly. :)

(2) it was Duck-Tape solution for "today".

I fully understand.
