I have a Joomla 5 site (everything is up to date) with an embedded contact form. When i send a message, the message success prompt appears but nothing is received. If I test mail sent within the control panel it sends and the message is received.

Thank you for reaching out, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Based on my testing, the PHP mail system appears to send emails successfully; however, I haven’t received anything in my inbox.
It seems there might be an issue with your hosting provider’s configuration. I recommend reaching out to them to confirm whether PHP mail is functioning correctly on your site.

Thanks. I swithced it to SMTP and it's getting through now.

Contact form addon don't support SMTP service. You need to use PHP mail. Thanks
