I would like to ask you whether the new popups are also blocked by a popup blocker or whether this type of popup is always displayed.

In my browsers I uses uBlock Origin and popup from new POPUP feature are NOT blocked, they are displayed in 100%. I used neutral content, also with Do you have 18+...
But if you would use inside content that would be classified as advertising content, then the popup content, may (but not necessarily) be blocked by browser adddon. It depends on the type of browser extension (there are few of them) and the type of filters enabled (level).

Accepted AnswerFor Joomla and Wordpress there are extension that show warnings if popup blocker in browser was detected.
