Thanks for contacting us. I think you are asking the customer to upload their preference and then you will make and deliver the product according to given instruction. It is like a pre-order and custom-made product. Can you share more details or any example of your requirement. I will share it with the developer team for consideration.

@Ofi, I think Jasmin wanted to say, that EasySTore should support upload field or at least input field in product page. And customer can upload custom logo image or just share a link to that file. 2nd option is more secured for website owner.

Hi, I would like to give customers the option of ordering a print job online. This requires an upload field, in my case for PDF documents. The PDF file can be sent to us with the order email, for example.

Sharing a link would also work, but it would be more complicated for us. Security remains the same, as both documents are opened by our employees.

Jasmin, I fully understand your request, I have a friend who prints items for clients with their logo on it etc. She also wait for that feature.

About security possible issues, I have concern about anyone can upload a file that may harm your site, hackers are clever, they can cheat Joomla file type recognition. Not all people who visit your site/shops have good intentions. We have cyberwar in whole UE (UK included), you probably know that and why is that.

With URL field - you still be will be able to download file (pdf, zip, etc.), but it must be uloaded & shared by user first. I know extra step, but ...

As I know new field for product page are planned, maybe Ofi can ask our developer more details if he sits closer than me ;]

Yes, Paul and Jasmin, I absolutely got the requirement. I have already discussed it with the developer team. They are interested in adding this upload feature on Checkout page. We will need some time for design and development of the feature. The security concern will also be considered with upload or attachment option.

Hi! Thank you very much for your support. It would be very helpful to have an input field on the checkout page. But if I think of a scenario where a customer has 2-3 or more documents and wants to have them processed differently, then it becomes difficult.

He would have to place individual orders (thus starting a payment process several times).

If, on the other hand, there is an input field at the product page, then he can send all orders to the shopping cart and pay for everything at once.

Right now (today) for all orders you have to use common "Comment" field in Order page to file share.
I hope soon we will improve that even more.
