AcyMailing Opt In Not Working Properly

I'm trying to use the optin addon to allow users to subscribe to my acymailing list. It says you are subscribed but it never actually subscribes them.

Thank you for reaching out to us. It seems you’re using Mailchimp for your opt-in subscriber list. Please check your Mailchimp account, and you should find the subscribed user there.
