How so we get support and help - How do you achieve it?

A question fur users:

How have you been able to succesfully gain support form joomshaper? on anyhting but simple quesitons the suport Email guide you to ask a question here. more difficult questiosn seem to be avoided and remian unasnwered.

What methods have those in simialr situations applied to acheive support and help from the developers?

Hi,

  1. For example, I help users using Forum answers. As you can see it now.
  2. Many answers you can find using Documenation >> https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation
  3. YouTube is also good source of tips (Joomla, Helix Ultimate, SPPB, components, CSS).
  4. ChatGPT may help for global Joomla questions, and with many CSS questions.
  5. About CSS customization >> https://www.joomshaper.com/blog/which-line-of-css-i-have-to-edit-code-inspector-in-action
  6. Remember that Support do not include php/js customization. On the forum we also do not add new features or make SEO audits etc.. Support Policy.
  7. Almost all questions like "Why Google...." - should be asked on Google Developer Forum or Joomla Forum, not here.

In a nutshell, a specific question (with screenshot or mockup) = a factual answer.

OK for example,

on my site inovantennas.com, it uses an old, out of date template (helixultimate) on the helix 2 patform.

Certian aspects no longer work such a a blgo with categories, previou sand next pages and so on. I would like to update this due don't what to loose the current link structure and thus domian authority that may come if the template is changed completely so would like to know if there is a way using perhaps pagebuilder (version 5 installed) to create a blgo and blog pages, the example on this site would be good.

Any other suggestions on what or how I may do that?

out of date template (helixultimate) on the helix 2 patform

The last version of Helix Ultimate is v2.1.1

We don't support templates based on Helix II anymore. This history ended in 2019.

If you have template or helix framework older than v2.1.1 please update using a new file >> https://www.joomshaper.com/downloads/template?search=helix

As you may or not know, template does not manage website links. So even with Casiopea template set as default, site would have exactly the same link (alias) structure. It also means that sitemap.xml content will be the same.

This generally depends on the settings of the menu item, for example, you can disable/enable navigation in the blog view. Next/Prev article in A single Article view is based on Article Options settings, but can be changed also in Blog Menu items settings. So this is Joomla thing, not releated with Helix. And Yes, I know it, becuase I use those features in my private projects.

I need links, not only words.
