Locally Installed Google Fonts Don't Work (Eventum)

Hi, I'm not quite sure if it is a template issue... I want to use the Google Font EXO 2 as a locally installed fonte (due to some lega issue regarding data protection in Germany). I loaded all fonts I need to the "font" folder in the template and created a custom.css relating to these fonts. But it doesen't work. Do I need to change something else? Maybe "diesable google for the CSS Selector" in the Typography tab in the template style? But where would I then select the font?

Hi, thank you for taking care. However, the font displayed is different now, but it doesn't look like EXO-2 (https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Exo+2). I looked in different browsers and on my smartphone...

Hi, it looks ok now, but then some Headings are no longer headings (font size fixed to 14px instead of H3). This is on this page: https://www.buecherboerse-owl.de/index.php?option=com_sppagebuilder&view=page&id=20 I tried to change the title and the first line but they stay at 14px.

Forthermore, it seems that the font still loads from gogle and not from the local font folder: " https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Exo 2: 100,100italic,200,200italic,300,300italic,regular,italic,500,500italic,600,600italic,700,700italic,800,800italic,900,900italic&subset=latin-ext"

(from Google fonts checker: https://www.ccm19.de/google-fonts-checker/?scanurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.buecherboerse-owl.de&googlefontchecker=check&scanstart=Check+starten&csrf_token=0268e67b7d33551a6f56261e

I uploaded the font to the font folder and added the custom.css relating to this folder. What is wrong with it?

You have to set font size separately from h1 to h6 inside the custom.css file.

Hi, I added the font size for headings, but is has only minor effect: on the home page the H3 heading takes the font-style from custom.css but not the font-weight (900) and not the size (2rem). On other pages H2 in the page header takes its size not from custom.css and in the pagebuilder section only style (normal) and not the size or the weight.

Furthermore, on all pages there is still the link to google fonts in the header section. How can I get rid of this link? It causes legal issues in Germany. In other Joomla pages it was no problem with custom.css and uploading the font to use them locally.

<link href="//fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Exo+2:100,100italic,200,200italic,300,300italic,regular,italic,500,500italic,600,600italic,700,700italic,800,800italic,900,900italic&amp;amp;subset=latin-ext" rel="stylesheet">

Thank you very much for your support.

Maby other people are interested in the final solution:

The last thing I had to change was one button in the template style in the typography section: even the button "Enable Custom Font" had to be set to "No". After that the reference link to googlefonts was gone.

Fine-tuning the typography is now done in cuscom.css and can be ocerruled by the settings in sppagemaker.

For this case, I would suggest you to use Helix Ultimate for the future. Thanks
