Fixter And Helix Ultimate Template Issues On Joomla 5

I installed the Fixter template on a new Joomla 5 install and got the error ... "JInstaller: :Install: File does not exist [ROOT][TMP]/install_677deedccd706/template/en-GB.tpl_fixter.ini"
I try to open the site frontend in both PHP 8.1 and 8.2. and I get ...
" $color: null is not a color.: templates/shaper_fixter/scss/presets.scss on line 486, at column 5 Call Stack: #0 import templates/shaper_fixter/scss/presets.scss (unknown file) on line 1"
What gives?
I am trying Helix ultimate too but while it works in the Frontend, I cannot open Template options in PHP 8.2 but PHP 8.1 works ok?
"An error has occurred. 0 Call to undefined function Joomla\CMS\Form\dom_import_simplexml()"
I get the same error when I try to add a new user using PHP 8.2. but again PHP 8.1 works
I'm on Joomla 5.2.3 and the latest Helix Ultimate.
