Hi Daniela Piccirillo,

Thank you for reaching out.

By default, Joomla restricts certain file types, including .html, for security reasons. To upload an .html file, you can compress it into a .zip file and then upload it.

Please let me know if you need further assistance!

Best regards

Thank you. How do I unzip the .zip file after uploading it?

You’re welcome!

After downloading the uploaded ZIP file, you can unzip it. Could you please let me know why you want to upload an .html file in the Media Manager?

Best regards

The Media Manager won't let me unzip it.... How could I do it? The .html files are navigable maps that I would like to load with the Media Manager and not with ftp.

Apologies for the inconvenience. As far as I know, that is not possible. I initially assumed the file was intended to be used as an attachment.

Thank you for your understanding. Best regards

Use Phoca Commander component or similar.

By default those kind of files cannot be uploaded becuase of Joomla security rules!
