I have tried this a couple of time, but it doesnt work. I can not find the file en-GB.shaper_helixultimate.ini in step no. 5, but I can find the file en-GB.tpl_shaper_helixultimate.ini.

Perhaps thats the mistake. If that the file you indicate on the guide, perhaps you should change the guide.

Also should it then be "en-GB.tpl_newname.ini" or "en-GB.otherpages.ini" ????

I have tryed to download and install the template file that you created "Jesper_template.zip, but it still give the same error when entering the template option in the template style:

Failed opening required '/var/www/clients/i57236/joomifix.dk/web/layouts/chromes/sp_xhtml.php' (include_path='.')

perhaps there is missing something in the guide.

sp_xhtml.php.zip

file location: /templates/jesper/html/layouts/chromes/sp_xhtml.php

I have applied this update for the 'Jesper' template, and it is working fine.

Thanks Asfakur. If I want to do the same another time. Can you eexplain what you did to make the file work. What I really mean: "How can I in the future setup another template on a webpage" instead of having you to make a file I have to replace in as above?

The problem occurs when the default page for the (da-DK) menu is assigned using the default Helix Ultimate menu assignment and when you want to edit the other template(jesper_template).

In this specific case, you need to apply the code solution provided earlier. Please use this code only for this exceptional scenario.

If the default homepage(da-DK) is not assigned to the Helix Ultimate template, the issue does not occur.

For such cases, you can follow the standard documentation on renaming the template, which should work without any issues.

Since this is a case-specific problem, rename the template for this site to avoid errors and apply the provided code in the following file:

jesper_template/template/html/layouts/chromes/sp_xhtml.php

And No, it does not work! even unselecting the menu in the template. Yes I get the Menu on the page, but half the functions does not work.

For me it seem like SPPB/Helix Ultimate vs. Joomla and two template is not delveloped enought for me to experiment on this issue.

Right now I have the feeling that the website is getting more and more uncontrolled with a special file here and there, and a ups solution not selecting a menu, and a unique code in another place. etc.

I was looking for something that works without me having to call support everytime I want to have a page with another template, and I guess that not an option.

Below picts show that neither the colors for the menu's work. (actually the colors is from the other template), and the predefined headers doesn't exists. and these are just examples.

I still think it is very unstable and honestly I lost the overview on how to install another template. Too many codes and you can not select the menu in the template and you should update and you can not this. Basically I thing it doesn't work.

If you can from day "now" give an description on how to install an additional template, I would be happy. I would then start from scratch and expect that all worked. Hummm! Are Joomshaper able to do that?

1. The custom color changes are not reflecting due to severe caching. I have tested this on a local environment, and it works fine. Please disable dynamic caching from your hosting provider, as well as any other caching mechanisms, and the changes should take effect. tpl_"the name I gave the template"

Example:

en-GB.tpl_shaper_helixultimate.ini

will be:

tpl_jesper.ini

And there is no "en-GB." in the new name?
