Easyshop - Product Categories

Hi, I am creating a Page with easyshop since a few days. We have about 400 different products in different variations. So the categories and the shopfront are very important to organize and to find the right Product. I will also use collections later. I have seen in the documentation, that the category can be shown in the shopfront in the list and the filter section. Also only one shopfront is very little.
I have to decide to go on with shopfront, or switch back to virtuemart. Further the search should be custemizable. Do I want to search in the chosen category, which data is included in the search... Can you give me a view for the future release, if more functions concerning categories and shopfront will come? I love the flexibility to layout with PageBuilder!

Thank you for reaching out to our technical support forum. Unfortunately, we do not have plans for different shopfront now. Only, one shopfront design is available. But if you want, you can design different shop pages using SP Page Builder. First take a regular SP Page Builder page. Then take EasyStore Product List addon and assign a category. In this way, you can design different pages for different category.
This is the view of how search works. Here, it is an EasyStore shop menu item with women category. If you search a Women category product using SP Page Builder EasyStore Search addon, then the result is shown like this.
If you search the same item in Men category Shop page, then it shows none.
For better understanding, I would request you to check out an EasyStore template. Please let me know if you require further help.

I decided to build up the shop in easyStore. You are correct, It is possible to build up several Layouts in regular Page Builder pages, but the filters does not work really well then. They are not connected to the category then, or I could not figure out how to do it. I can connect the Product List to the category, but not the filters. So all filters of all products are shown. If there would be a setup possibility, it would be perfect for me.
