Error After Update SP Pagebuilder From 5.5.1 To 5.5.2

Hi there,

yesterday I updated a live site as stated in the title. The backend is not responsive and has the following error: "Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'data')".

Check screenshot here https://imgur.com/a/orMNy4F.

The client has made yesterday a lot of content changes and is adamant about not restoring a backup of the previous version using SPPB 5.5.1.

I just tried to overwrite the 5.5.2 version with the older 5.5.1 version, and that did not help here.

Please help me out here. What to do?

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused by this oversight. To better address the issue, could you kindly provide Joomla administrator access? This will enable me to thoroughly investigate the matter and provide you with a prompt resolution.

I appreciate your cooperation and will ensure to get back to you as soon as possible.

Best regards,

Toufiqur Rahman (Team Lead, Support)

I have checked your site on my end and it works fine.

Download the akeeba backup & install this backup.

Before install akeeba backup follow this instructions.

Even you can create an staging site to check this backup.

Tnx Toufiq, it worked partially. I have installed the provided backup.

The problem I have now is: you provided me with the bckup version from our dev-site, and not from the live site. Hence I can not reuse your bckup, because it does not contain all the content changes the client did the day before the update to SPPB 5.5.2 on the live sit.e

Can you please tell me what needs be done on the live site to get rid of the error Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'data').

I already stated, that the client is adamant of not running over the current live site version, since a whole lot of content changes would be lost. So it is not an option.

Best Ivana

Hi Toufiq,

I have another website with the same issue above. Details in the hidden section.

The only difference here is, the update was from SPPB 5.4.6 to 5.5.2.

Could you help me out here too, please?

Ivana

Open your configuration.php file & apply this fix first. Then I will check again your issue.

public $debug = true;
public $error_reporting = 'maximum';

to

public $debug = false;
