This has happened to me more than 6 times in the last 1yr especially on complex pages that I've spent hours on setting up and just doing the last save click.
When you click the save button and by chance anything goes wrong with the internet connection at that moment (e.g. wifi was not connected when save button was clicked), you get the save button disabled and a spinner indicating save is in progress.
What happens is:
- Well, the page never saves and indicator just spins forever. (even if you are back online)
- All the content of the page gets deleted and you now get a blank/empty page when you visit it.
- Since there is no option to re-attempt saving the page you are out of luck and have too redo the whole page from scratch seting you back hours.
This makes no sense.
Can you guys include an option for someone to re-attempt the save process?
A grayed out save button that never comes back enabled doesnt help.
Its either the button gets available after a timeout period or provide a second button that handles forced re-attempt.
If I'm missing something please let me know.
