Dynamic content in SP Page Builder pulls data from your predefined collections. When applying filters, you’re filtering based on stored collection data, not real-time values like “today’s date.”

If I understand correctly, you’re trying to filter events so that only those with a start date after today are displayed. Unfortunately, the filtering system currently only allows static date selection, so it doesn’t support real-time filtering based on the current date.

As a workaround, you can mark past events as “closed” by retrieving data from your collection items and displaying only active events.

A filter by date before, equal or after "today’s date", is a very important filter to show and sort events... Dynamic content is certainly a huge qualitative leap in the sppagebuiber addon portfolio, however there are still some flaws that make it very difficult to use. I hope it continues to improve and address the major limitations.
