An error has occurred.

    Backend is broken, please see link in hidden content

cleared cache went into phpmyadmin and repaired-optimized tables reinstalled Nectar template remains broken

Hi,

Probably you made Joomla upgrade, right. Broken back-end is not from front-end template. Is from Joomla Admin template Atum, and it cannot load .css styles.

Using MyPHPAdmin you can:

  1. Change default front-end template
  2. Disable any plugin, also Helix.

Also, rename or delete old .htaccess file, and use a new one, from J5.3. And delete that file: administrator/cache/autoload_psr4.php
