SP Page builder on Joomla Good morning, I have made a mess. I don't know how, but I have overwritten the Home Page with another present page. I have the backups available. which folders are affected? is it also necessary to act on the database? Thank you

Ciao.

If you changed default home page, but "old & good" page you still have in list of Pages, just go to Menus > MainMenu > Home and choose different page, and make it default.

But if you deleted/damaged previous home page content, you should ask the hosting provider to recover your database (!) from the previous day. In theory, you could also extract from backup only that page, but it requires more skills.

Settings and Content is only in database in Joomla, not in files (!) . In folders you can find only images etc.

@UNIONGAIA F.G.

are you sure, you did something wrong? A client of mine made a change on one pagebuilder page, saved it - and the next time he opened the page, it had the content of a totally different page! Now he original page is gone and he has two exact same pages.

I hope that's not a bug?

If your editor/client made that mess, webmaster duty is to recover that, and charge him ($) for that task. It's the same if you share a car/bike and he would damage it.

Use database backup. Fast method.

I am the webmaster, and I am at an amateur level with all the gaps that come with it. So you have to do it yourself. I am not very familiar with database recovery. However, I rebuilt the page. The problem is that I do not understand how it happened. I think I renamed the page by simply overwriting the name in the search field. I do not know if this is possible.

I discovered another cloned page in place of the previous one. while I was fixing it, switching from one page to another even 10 minutes ago, I found the contents of the previously opened page on the one I was viewing. luckily I did not save, otherwise I would have overwritten the contents. also, the insert button in the "image" block disappeared. I reinstalled version 5.5.4 to solve it.

You forgot to share full Template Name and Addon name. Becuase in some templates (also from different developers) some addons were overriden.

This is a very important info to help you more.

BTW

SPPB 5.5.5 Pro was published.

  1. Template is NOT ours.
  2. Check if that folder exist : templates\lt_soccer\sppagebuilder\addons\image

If yes, please delete it, with all .php files inside. Later contact with template developer to fix it.

With removed override, Joomla will use Image addon directly from component folder, which is much better.
