Update : Error Connecting To The Server: 403

I find this error happens a LOT. Not all sites exhibit this issue though.

When I use Extensions >> Update to update from (for example) SPPB Pro 5.6.1 to 5.70, I see the following:

Error connecting to the server: 403 Before updating ensure that the update is compatible with your Joomla! installation. You are strongly advised to make a backup of your site's files and database before you start updating.

Failed to download package. Download it and install manually from https://www.joomshaper.com/index.php?option=com_product&task=download.download&package=release&id=10306.

Why does this keep happening?

Hi there!

Sorry for your experience.

Have you entered your JoomShaper associated email and licence key in SPPB options, please? If yes, simply remove, clearing cache, then re-enter again can help the situation.

Deleting the user and password in SPPB Pro config, clearing the cache and then reentering the credentials works but only 50% of the time.
