Issue With Media Manager Not Showing Anything On 5.7.2

Hello,

I just wanted to let you guys know that the media manager stops working on my website when I installed 5.7.2. It doesn't show any folders or images anymore. I went back to 5.7.1 and all the images show up again.

It could be that the images that are not uploaded through SPPB are the reason why they don't show up because I usually upload everything through FTP. But I just wanted to let you know all the images I have uploaded through FTP don't show up in SPPB 5.7.2 but when I switch back to 5.7.1, they show up again.

Thanks, Shaun

Hello Shaun,

Apolozy for the inconvenience. Please navigate to Content > Media > Options prnt.sc/F--sV83elS_T and check the values set for "Path to Files Folder" and "Path to Images Folder." prnt.sc/XR3B72_cGqnO

If these are set to files while your older uploads are located in the images folder, they will not be visible. Changing the setting back to images should make your older uploads appear again. Joomla recently introduced this files feature in an update, which may be causing the difference in behavior.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Best regards

I have the same issue. This is wat i already found out: The images are still uploaded but in a different directory. --> sitename/files.
The media manager is looking for its media in this directory en no longer in the /images directory

The link should work, I just did it to confirm. I was able to download it in firefox but I had to allow it because it was flagged as a risk because of the IP url.
