I have a Joomla 4.4.13 installation. When I use the system Update Tool (/index.php?option=com_installer&view=update) for "PageBuilder Pro 3.8.7", "SP Easy Image Gallery", "SP Simple Portfolio", "System - Helix Ultimate", will it update to the lastest version or will it update to the lastest compatible version to 4.4.13?
P.S.: I know, that Joomla Version is outdated. I know it's recommended to use the latest Joomla version. An upgrade to 5 is not possible right now.

- Joomla 4.4.13 is totally OK, it's offcially supported till October 2025.
- Using SPPB 3.8.7 is NOT OK. You should have at least 3.8.10 or upgrade to SPPB 5.x.
- Helix Ultimate - yes, you can and you should update template and/or plugin.

Yes, all JS products can be updated for J4.x. I only wonder why site webmaster didn't make it sooner ;]
BTW
I know many people (also here) who still have J3.x and that is security problem, not J4.

Accepted AnswerAs you know (or not yet?), Joomla (1.x - 6.x.) checks updates using path from .xml file on the developer site, and uses the last version that is available.
The same rule was/is for all extensions from all J! developers. Hopefully in Joomla you can still update extensions and template manually :]

In WordPress is quite similar, but plugins can be auto-updated.
