Sp Page Builder 5.7.2 -> Error 500 In PAGES

SP Page Builder 1 month ago

I have a couple of site running on J 3.10.12 php 8.1

When I try to load the sp page builder PAGES

0 Class "Joomla\Database\ParameterType" not found /home/jachthaven/domains/XXXXX.XX/public_html/administrator/components/com_sppagebuilder/models/editor.php:282

I have now 6 sites running the same error .. so its not a local thing.

I tried to clear cache. I tried to reinstall the sp page builder.

What can I do

Sorry for the inconvenience you're experiencing. Please ensure your server meets the technical requirements for SP Page Builder. For versions 5.5.x and later, the minimum PHP version is 8.1 and the minimum Joomla version is 4.4. I cant update right now all sites at once.

What would be the best practise to downgrade?

Uninstall plugin and install verion 5.4.6 ?

Hello ejps,

If you only have SP Page Builder pages and no SP Page Builder modules, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the component. However, if you have SP Page Builder modules, uninstalling will remove them. In that case, please install the oldest version and then manually remove the following folders:

  • JRoot/components/com_sppagebuilder/addons/dynamic_content_collection
  • JRoot/components/com_sppagebuilder/addons/dynamic_content_filter
  • JRoot/components/com_sppagebuilder/addons/dynamic_content_image
  • JRoot/components/com_sppagebuilder/addons/dynamic_content_text
