Hi, I'm currently bulding a new site based on the Nectar template and want to integrate a portfolio page. Any suggestions/advice on what might be the best/most compatible extension/plugin to complement the template. With kind regards, Steve.

Hello Steve,

Thank you for reaching out. JoomShaper offers the SP Simple Portfolio extension, which integrates well with our templates, including Nectar: https://www.joomshaper.com/downloads/extension/sp-simple-portfolio.

Alternatively, depending on your specific needs, you can also create a fully customized portfolio using SP Page Builder’s Dynamic Content feature: https://www.joomshaper.com/blog/create-a-dynamic-portfolio-website-in-joomla.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you need further assistance.

Best regards

Thank you for your message. Yes, you can achieve this by creating a template override in the standard Joomla-recommended way. Nothing special is required—just override the relevant view file within your template’s html folder and apply your changes there.
