Unfortunately, reinstalling SP Page Builder doesn't help either. The problem has been persisting since 2024. I'm manually copying the sections from the backup into a new, clean post. 🙈

Hi everyone, this is how I solved the issue:

Copy the sections into a new article. If you don’t have a daily backup of your site, you should definitely set one up.

Delete the broken article. Note: In Joomla, the SP Pagebuilder entry will still remain in the database.

Link the menu item to the new article 🙂

Search for the article ID in the database (example: article&id=458) and delete this entry.

Why delete it? When I checked my site architecture, the broken article was still linked. This prevented proper crawling of the site. Google was unable to index the website correctly. On the frontend, everything is clickable, but the error is not visible.

It would be great if the support team could look into this and possibly create an official guideline.

Kopieren der Sektionen in einen neuen Beitrag. Wer kein tägliches Backup seiner Seite hat, sollte unbedingt eines einrichten.

Löschen des defekten Beitrags. Achtung: In Joomla bleibt der SP-Pagebuilder-Beitrag trotzdem in der Datenbank erhalten.

Menüpunkt mit dem neuen Beitrag verlinken 🙂

In der Datenbank nach der Beitrags-ID suchen (Beispiel: article&id=458) und diesen Eintrag löschen.

Warum löschen? Als ich meine Seitenarchitektur geprüft habe, war der defekte Beitrag immer noch verlinkt. Das hat das Crawlen der Seite verhindert. Google kann die Webseite so nicht sauber indizieren. Auf der Webseite selbst ist alles klickbar, der Fehler ist nicht sichtbar.

Es wäre toll, wenn der Support das prüfen und allenfalls eine offizielle Anleitung erstellen könnte.
