Thanks, now I don't get the "Default Layout File is Not Exists" message, and I get helix template so that I can edit. What did you do?

BUT the slider is gone from my frontpage! The template "Callisto - Home - Particles_biony" should be assigned for the front page only. Now it's not.

I tried to assign the front page myself, but the slider is still gone. I need the slider on my first page. I can possibly restore from tonights backup, but then we're back to start with "Default Layout File is Not Exists".

Isn't it possible to have two different templates assigned and still get helix to work on one of the menues?

ITs important to have my old site up and working, so that i can work on this new template in the backgground

Now the slider is there. That's how I want it my pages to look. But now I get the message "Default Layout File is Not Exists", and no pages are assigned to the helix template.

Didn't touch anything else. Later I have noticed that menu assignment has changed as you mentioned, so I have tried to re-assign as you did. But, seems the slider issue is happening again.

Where I can find the slider? Or can you try to restore your backup one more time to let me check this issue again. I will be more careful this time.

Now the slider is there, but the Helix template gives "Default Layout File is Not Exists" Where you can find the slider: It is called swiper particle in gantry.

First go to the template "Callisto - Home - Particles_biony". Scroll down and choose swiper.

I can restore the pages to a backup from before we started, but it isn't everything back to where it was?

OK, I noticed and I will check it up. I have another backup solution that runs from the control panel. It takes backup every night.

I could give you the login so that you can use that. But just now I added som information to the website and I don't want to do it again, so the backup from last night is not good enough today. (norwegian time, I know your clock is probably something else :-))

I installed Akeeba backup once again, and now it works!

Thank you. I can't see any difference. I still get the message "Default Layout file is not exists! Please goto to template manager and create a new layout first".

But one possibility is that I disable the swiper particle for a period. And then, don't you think, the the Helix ultima template will work from backend?
