I don't know, but totally weird, becuase .jpg is classic supported format.

1. Try with .webp files
2. Try to upload .jpg file in Joomla Media Manager
3. Try to upload .jpg file in SP Page Builder > Media Manager

I just tried :

1. webp upload from easystore product edit - not accepted
2. jpg from joomla media manager - success
3. jpg from sppb media manager - success

And you have that since EasyStore 1.7.1 update?

Please by now choose needed image that were uploaded by using Media Manager (SPPB or J!)

and can you put url to .jpg manually, in field?
