Can't Access Images Directory With SPPB

SPPB is going to the files directory in the media manager instead of the images directory. I can't find where to change that so it goes to the images directory. The images directory is not visible or accessible from the SPPB media manager settings or within an SPPB page.

This is SPPB 6.1.2, Joomla 6, and PHP 8.4.14

Please advise.

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused by this oversight. The image path is changed on Joomla 6.

Go to the global media > top right options >

https://prnt.sc/hMin2rLKDdaH

Change the files to images

Hi Toufiq,

I already had the Path to Images Folder set to images (https://loom.com/i/6c0854913abf4ca28da192ecbf10c829)

but I changed the Path to Files Folder from files to images and that made them visible now.

Thank you,

Karen

P.S. I know J6 added the Path to Files Folder but I'm confused as to why it wouldn't be set to the new files directory that was also introducted in J6.

Ah, right, I get it now. Your screenshot made me remember the intent of the change with J6. Thank you.

I could create an images directory inside the files directory instead of the old way, i.e. I used to add a files directory into the images directory (which didn't make sense when there were documents in the files directory in the images parent directory).
