NURON Template Upgrade

Hi,

I have been using the NURON template for several years, and it has become outdated. I would like to update it to a newer version of the NURON template so that I can also upgrade Joomla and PHP.

Could you please advise how I can update the template without affecting the current website’s content and functionality?

So based on your recommendation, for Joomla 4.2.6 I should stay on Helix Ultimate v2.1.3 and only update Joomla within the 4.x series. Please confirm. How can I upgrade to joomla 5 ?

Hi,

The NURON template is compatible with Joomla 6,5, and 4.

No worries, you can update your template and PHP version too. Which version of PHP you are using now, please?

If you do not want to update your Joomla version from 4 to 5, then yes you can keep using Helix Ultimate v2.1.3.

PHP8.1. It is out of date. Can i upgrade it to higher version of PHP?

Yes, you can try PHP 8.2 or PHP 8.3. The Nuron template is compatible with these versions. If you go for Joomla 6, thenn you can even try the PHP 8.4 also.

Thanks for the information.

Please upgrade to at least Helix Ultimate v2.1.3, try clearing caches, then update your PHP version to see if it helps!
