Dynamic Filter Query

Using dynamic fields and the dynamic filter.

When you have an item that may have more than one feature how is the best way to add it too the filter?

For example, I am filtering tiles.

1 tile may come in 4 different sizes, but I still want to be able to add that tile to all 4 of those filter choices.

Or it may come in 3 out of five available textures.

The only way I can see is to set up seperate text fields for each.

However then they can't be grouped or added to an accordion menu as far as I can see.

THanks

Hello David,

Thank you for your message, and we sincerely apologize for the delayed response over the weekend. Sorry for the inconvenience you're experiencing.

Regarding your dynamic filter query, you can achieve your desired result using SP Page Builder’s Dynamic Content – Multi Reference feature. This feature allows you to associate a single item with multiple values (for example, multiple sizes or textures) from a different collection, which can then be effectively utilized within dynamic filters.

By using multi-reference fields instead of separate text fields, you'll be able to:

  • Assign multiple sizes or textures to a single tile
  • Ensure the tile appears correctly under all relevant filter options
  • Keep the filter structure clean and manageable, including grouping and accordion-style layouts

We recommend reviewing the following documentation for detailed guidance on setting up and using multi-reference fields:

Hope this helps!

Best regards

Thanks Atick, I think I get it now. I'll try that out. Much appreciated. It is very powerful. It would be great if we could use the same filter system in easystore.
