Hello, we are a small school website and we actually use the Macro template. However, some of us also do podcasts, and I noticed the podcast template. Of course, I can't use the template because it would change the entire website, but is it possible to use the template, especially the layout for the podcasts, on individual pages without installing another Joomla? So that our mp3 files look like podcast pages :)

Regards, Stein

Hello Freiherr,

Thank you for reaching out.

Yes, in this case you should install the Podcast Quick Start on a development or staging environment, then export the required page along with its media. After that, you can import it into your live site as a sp page.

Thanks.

Hi Stein.

Yes. But it request knowledge, time and focus. You need to copying styles from Template A to Template B, and overrides the same addons (2), maybe also JS code. Not so easy, but after all possible.

I am afraid that is customization task beyond typical support. Like taking parts from bike 1 to fit inside bike 2.

An alternative would be to use a commercial Mp3 player (module) from JED.

Hello, thank you. okay, I'm considering a subdomain. Did the theme work as intended (like the preview for Spotify and Co.) with self-hosted MP3s? So that the theme retains the podcast design, etc. Or, for example, does only the HTML audio player appear with self-hosted MP3s?

Best regards
