I’m currently using the latest version of EasyStore and noticed that when a product is out of stock (inventory tracking enabled and backorders disabled), the “Add to Cart” button becomes disabled and displays “Out of Stock.”

While this works functionally, it creates a missed opportunity from a user experience and conversion standpoint.

It would be extremely valuable if EasyStore included a native “Notify Me When Back in Stock” feature that:

• Automatically replaces the disabled Add to Cart button • Displays a simple email subscription field or modal • Stores the email against that specific product • Sends an automated notification when stock is replenished

This is standard behavior in many modern ecommerce platforms and helps:

• Capture high-intent customers • Improve conversions on restocks • Reduce frustration from disabled buttons • Increase repeat engagement

Ideally, this would be:

• A global toggle in EasyStore settings • Configurable per product • Integrated with Joomla user accounts when applicable • Compatible with third-party email systems (AcyMailing, Mailchimp, etc.)

Right now, the only option is a disabled button or custom workarounds, which isn’t ideal from a UX perspective.

I believe this feature would significantly improve EasyStore’s ecommerce competitiveness and user experience.
