Please let me know these:

1. What is your Joomla version?
2. What is your default editor in Joomla Global Configuration?
3. Which browser are you using?

I have heard there is a Joomla editor blink issue with Firefox browser on the latest Joomla.

I've noticed the same issue yesterday on a J5 site. Firefox, Mac as well while editing some easystore products.

I have checked the issue on Joomla 5 Quickstart on FireFox browser. It seems to be browser and Joomla 5 specific. Please check the screencast: files.fm/u/seb85wvpc4

Helix Ultimate and SP Page Builder are not responsible for the issue. Please upgrade the site to Joomla 6 or use Google Chrome browser to avoid the issue.

You can use this fix:

TinyMCE editor blink on Firefox issue fix

After applying it, clear your cache and hard reload the backend. It should be okay.

In general, it's a Joomla core issue becuase in last Firefox update they improved the code, and Joomla 4.4, 5.x and 6.0 still use older TinyMce JS code.

As @Ofi said, there is fix file on GitHub for that, and I assume in next Joomla update it will be fixed.

Solution #2 - install JCE editor set as default editor in Global Configuration.

Solution #3 - use Chrome, Safari or Opera
