hello SP team, we had a major issue, the database that was exported, was 600 Mbytes
after escalating we found that the setting versioning is ENABLED and caused the database to be extremely large
just reporting to help other users sppagebuilder_versions

Accepted Answerin version 6.3.2 you can disable that feature, as I said before. More settings soon.

Are you sure that over 550 MB was only from SPPB? Just asking.
Versioning can be disabled from SPPB Settings. You can also remove records from single page.
Compare to Articles where you have only letters (text), SPPB have to remember much more ! That's why it's not a feature for everyone. As I know, we will add max limit of records in next update(s).

Accepted AnswerHi Paul, yes we found one table 271Mb (!) which we deleted and the database from 588 mb went to 12 or so, I will post more details soon at Toufiq's reply. I didn't manage to collect a lot of info because we had already deleted the previous db that we had online, and we were in a hurry to minimize downtime

Thanks for sharing this. To better understand the situation, could you please provide a bit more detail? Approximately how many versions were stored in your page? Did you export the entire pages (bulk export), or was it related to a single page export? This information will help us identify the exact cause and suggest the most appropriate solution. Accepted AnswerHi Toufiq, we installed v 6,3,0 we found the setting versioning enabled, causing the entire database to keep older versions, sorry I couldnt identify how many, but the table sppagebuilder_versions was 271mb, and the db was 588 after dumping this single table, went to around 12mb and the site is working fine https://lorrainesaccommodation.com/
