Article Scroller Thumbnail Images

Is there a way to generate thumbnails with the same dimensions as those displayed in the modules, rather than loading the intro images from Joomla articles? This would be very useful for speeding up the site.

Hi,

Thanks for your question.

By default, Joomla/SP Page Builder modules use the article intro/full images directly, and there is no built-in option to automatically generate resized thumbnails with fixed dimensions.

💡 Best Practice:

  • Resize images before upload
  • Use compressed formats (WebP if possible)
  • Match image size to module display size
