Hi everyone, I was wondering if the Joomla add-on fields within articles built with PageBuilder don't work (they don't currently work in my latest Pro version), and honestly, having this system working would be a lifesaver. With the system I have in mind, I'd have the content ready in a matter of seconds. Is there anything new on this? Is there any news on how to fix the problem? Best regards

I would need something else. I need to create content in this order:

  1. additional fields
  2. article
  3. within the article, page builder
  4. Within the page builder, create sections with text modules where I insert additional field, as in the Joomla article. e.g.: {field 21} More specifically, the one selectable from the CMS Content menu in the article editor.

This way, I can create tabs with pre-set layouts that don't require any editing; I just need to fill in the fields and the article is ready to go. Unfortunately, however, within that menu in the text editor within the page builder, these fields don't work. Regards.

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out, and apologies for the inconvenience.

Unfortunately, Joomla Custom Fields are currently not supported inside Dynamic Content Articles in SP Page Builder. We understand how useful this functionality would be, especially for quickly building and managing content workflows like the one you described.

Our development team is already aware of this limitation, and support for Custom Fields in Dynamic Content Articles is planned for a future update. While we do not have an exact release date yet, the feature is expected to be added soon.

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding in the meantime.

Best regards
