I had a problem with the KIND website template. I was working on it when I lost all the formatting. After making a change to the dynamic content, the entire site changed, and all the formatting was lost. I don’t understand what happened.

I don’t understand your question. You have the username and password to view the website. It’s been three days, and I haven’t received an answer. I see the same issue as you with the format. I can’t replicate the issue because it already happened. I need to know if the template is stable or if I should move on to another template. I’ve been trying to get this up and running and need to make a decision.

I decided to use a different template because this one isn’t stable. I reinstalled, made the change, and the issue persisted. I love the product, but I’m having trouble with dynamic content and the website you offer it on. This seems to happen every time that even a change in copy and dynamic content just makes the website lose its loose and formatting. I had a friend of mine that knows about websites. Look at it, and he lists the issues with it in thein the hidden content. Thank you.

This is not working for me. My Mac does not like this thing. This is very frustrating. You have access to the back. I gave you permission. It's a website that I haven't used. All I need is for this to be fixed and to work. This is kind of useless for me to go back and forth with you for over two weeks, and I still have nothing on my end. It's very frustrating.

I need a clear answer on whether this issue can actually be resolved.

I have already installed this system three separate times, across two different servers and three different website setups, and the same issue continues to happen every time.

The problem is very specific:

Whenever I edit dynamic content on the front page template, even something as simple as changing copy or updating text, the website breaks. I am not deleting modules or restructuring layouts. I am only changing content inside the dynamic sections.

The main area where this happens is the section that displays the different levels of help/services on the homepage.

After making edits, the site either goes blank or loses all of the styling. Colors, formatting, and visual settings disappear entirely.

My IT person already went in and temporarily repaired it by manually reestablishing the colors and settings. However, he made it very clear that this is only a temporary patch and that the issue will continue happening unless the root problem is fixed properly.

He also mentioned that every time changes are made in these dynamic sections, the same corruption behavior is likely to return.

At this point, I need to know one thing clearly:

Can this actually be fixed permanently, or not?

If this is a known issue with the template/framework/system and there is no reliable solution, please let me know directly so I can move to another platform such as WordPress and avoid losing more time.

I have a deadline this Friday, and this issue has already delayed the project for more than three weeks.

I need a realistic answer and a stable path forward. Don't see the use of me sending screenshots of what's going on. I mean, that doesn't change the fact that it's not working. Thank you.

I’m going to step away from this issue for now.

Thank you for your time, but I do not want to continue troubleshooting this any further. The issue is still happening every time I edit the dynamic content on the homepage. The site breaks, styling disappears, and sections become blank. I have already reinstalled the template multiple times, and the same problem continues.

What has been frustrating is that the issue was visible on your side as well, yet I am still being asked repeatedly for screenshots and additional troubleshooting steps. I was even contacted around 3:00 AM to continue testing. At this point, this no longer feels like customer support. I should not have to function as the troubleshooter for a commercial template after more than three weeks of unresolved issues.

Mainly i want to see the problem when exactly occurred. If you can capture a screencast video about the full scenario. It would be good to solve the issue properly. You can replicate the same thing on this test site.

I can’t say I’m a troubleshooter for your website when the issue is clearly tied to the template itself. You can already see the problem happening repeatedly. It needs to be fixed on your end.

The whole reason for purchasing a template system is to save time and avoid spending hours troubleshooting core functionality. If I wanted to spend my time debugging platform issues, I would rather focus on my own projects and infrastructure.

I’ve installed this multiple times and the same issue keeps happening whenever dynamic content on the homepage is edited. This is not user error. The site breaks, formatting disappears, and sections become blank. Even my IT person confirmed this behavior.

At this point, I need a direct resolution or an honest answer about whether this template can reliably handle dynamic content editing. I have deadlines to meet and cannot continue rebuilding the site every time basic content updates are made.

I’ve been working with your templates for over 14 years and have never experienced this kind of situation. I’m simply asking for proper support and a real fix. Take a look at it. If you can't figure it out, like I said, I need to get my work done. I don't have the time to troubleshoot this when it's definitely a template problem. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that this has happened to.

To help us properly investigate and reproduce the issue on our end, could you please record a short screencast video showing the full process step by step? That would help us better understand the behavior and identify the root cause more accurately.

It would also be very helpful for improving the product and preventing similar issues in future updates.

If possible, please include:

  • Which dynamic content item you are editing
  • The exact steps before the issue appears
  • What result you expected
  • What happened instead

Hi,

Thank you for your help.

I need to be clear that I cannot recreate the issue again because doing so would require me to reinstall the entire website and start over. I do not have the time to keep rebuilding the site to demonstrate the same problem.

As I explained before, the issue happens in the front page dark section with the dynamic content. If I go in and simply change the copy, even without deleting anything, the section becomes blank and the previous styling and content are lost.

I have explained this several times, and at this point, I do not know how else to describe it. The page is not usable for me right now.

You already have the login information, and I give you permission to test it directly. Since I cannot use that page in its current condition, you are welcome to go in and try changing the copy in that section to see the issue for yourself.Remember, my IT director went in there and made that patch, so it might not be even able to replicate it because of the patch he created.
