Hi I'm having trouble with SP Page Builder. I want to create a block with the full-height window option and the text centered vertically. I've enabled "vertical align" and checked "center," but the text remains at the top.

Could you help me please ?

THX

Great, that explains the confusion perfectly.

Yes, in earlier versions the vertical alignment was handled only at the Column level, which is why it behaved differently. With the newer structure, Section-level settings now take priority in combination with Window Height mode.

Glad we got it sorted — if you run into any other layout inconsistencies while updating the page, feel free to reach out.

Please marked the issue as solved

Well that's OK : the text is in the middle, thx so much.

But 2 things :

  • I can't change the vertical position of this block
  • I can't creat another one without the bug

Hi,

Glad to hear the text alignment is working properly now.

Regarding the vertical positioning, please make sure that Content Alignment is enabled and set to Center in the section settings prnt.sc/uCcLtlbizXm7. This controls the vertical alignment of the content inside the block.

Also, if you want the section to always match the full screen height, instead of manually adjusting height, margin, or padding for different devices, please use the Window Height option under Height Options prnt.sc/7KJk81wfUTB4. This ensures the section automatically adapts to the viewport height on all display sizes.

Using manual height values for each breakpoint will not provide a fully responsive native solution.

Of course I enabled and used those two settings, otherwise I wouldn't have noticed that the vertical alignment function doesn't work in "window height enabled" mode...

So, as I mentioned, I did enable and configure those two options, but it's still not working.

The "vertical alignment" function works with any other block that doesn't use window height.

So you managed to get the text to align vertically for the first block: how did you get it to work?

Hi,

From my checking, both of those settings were disabled initially. I only enabled them, and that is what fixed the issue on the first block.

I think there may be some confusion between the Section Settings and the Column Settings, since both contain alignment-related options. The Column Settings also include a Vertical Align option: https://prnt.sc/h9fPzT38fu0X

However, the settings I was referring to are located under the Section Settings: https://prnt.sc/uCcLtlbizXm7

OKAAAY ! Understood ! In the previous version, the alignement was always in the Column settings, not in the Section settings. That's why :)

Thank you so much !
