Issues After Reinstall And Upgrade

Hi, I have upgraded a site to J5 and it looks fine in the test domain:

https://takstmannen.jkwebdesign.no

But when I move it to the normal domain/webserver, there's suddenly issues with the top menu, the front page images in the slideshow is missing, fonts looks different.. etc.

https://takstmannen.no

You have admin access to both of these with the same user and passwd (hidden).

Could you please check and suggest a solution? Both should be identical, no changes done before moving a copy back to original site (Akeeba Backup and install). Both have PHP 8.2.

Hi Jan,

Thank you for reaching out, and apologies for the inconvenience.

I have checked both of your websites from my end:

At the moment, both sites appear identical to me, and I am unable to spot any obvious differences with the menu, slideshow images, fonts, or overall layout.

It's possible that I may be overlooking the specific issue you're experiencing. To help us better understand the problem, could you please share some screenshots highlighting the affected areas on the live site and, if possible, the corresponding areas on the test site for comparison?

Once we can clearly see the differences, we'll be happy to investigate further and suggest a solution.

Looking forward to your reply.

Kind regards

Hi Atick,

I found out after a while that the issues I experienced probably was caused by some cache problems in my browsers, after this was cleared everything was back to normal.

Sorry for this, but I was not able to give you a notice at that time since I couldn't find my question (when it was not answered)...

Best regards, Jan

Hi Jan,

Thank you for the update — no worries at all, and apologies for the inconvenience you experienced during troubleshooting.

I’m glad to hear that everything is working correctly again after clearing the browser cache. This kind of issue can sometimes happen after a migration or update, so your follow-up is still very helpful for us.

If you notice anything else or need any further assistance in the future, feel free to reach out anytime.

Kind regards
