Hi,

Trying to migrate from J2Store to EasyStore (Free atm), it gets to 20% and then I get a "Migration Failed" with the following error :

Field 'name' doesn't have a default value

Any idea why ?

OK thanks. Hope they manage to solve that easily, I'm waiting to confirm I can successfully migrate from J2Store before buying EasyStore, and would like to benefit from current promotion ;-)

The team migrated the site from J2Store to EasyStore on localhost. Then they shared the backup of the fixed site. Please download it from the hidden content and install it on your server.

No... provided them with credentials to my instance, I'm waiting for someone from JoomShaper to have a look at it.

How do I need to install that back on my website ? Is that an akeeba backup ? Do I need to install it using kickstart over my existing website ? I don't have akeeba Pro and it looks like it's required to restore a backup over an existing website.

Can't you provide me with an SQL DB export instead so I could simply replace my DB ? That would be a lot easier.

Thanks

On my installed version, the images loads fine. Please check the previously shared Akeeba Backup. It is in ZIP format. Install it like you install Joomla Template Quickstart. Follow this tutorial for help.

Okay. I have exported the database. Please import it on the server. The full site database is shared on the hidden content.

Thanks a lot. I could reimport the DB successfully and now see all my products in EasyStore.

Anyway, it looks like all product images are broken, is there any reason those were not migrated ? Something I can do to fix that ?

Thanks

Just looking at updating the image on one product, is it so that I cannot simply chose an existing image from my image library and have to re-upload every image from my computer into EasyStore ? I cannot seem to find the option.

All my product images are in my Joomla image library.

Thanks

OK thanks... I see indeed that the images are pointing to the /images/easystore directory... I thought the migration would link to the existing images, but instead it copies them into another directory... I'll upload that directory to my server
