Before updating, make sure you create a full backup of your site. Then download the latest Helix Ultimate package and update it manually through Joomla's Extension Manager following the documentation steps.

Thanks for your reply. I realise that I can update it manually. But why doesn’t it work automatically anymore? Up to version 2.2.4, Joomla always offered me the update automatically.

Yes, please download the template package from the download section and install it over your existing setup.

Before updating, I would also recommend taking a full backup of your website (files and database) so you can restore it easily if anything unexpected happens during the update.

Your custom CSS should remain intact after the update, as long as it has been added in the correct location.

But why isn't the new version being offered in Joomla? I have 2.2.4 installed too. There's no mention of a new version at all. It used to work before, right? The same goes for SP Page Builder.

It doesn't really make sense to keep that update under wraps, does it?

It seems there was a misunderstanding.

Actually, I can see the update notification from my end, and most users should be able to see it as well. Please check the screenshot below:

I'm not sure why the update notification is not appearing on your side. It may be related to the update information not being refreshed correctly on your Joomla installation.

Please try the following:

1. Go to: System → Update → Extensions Update

2. Click Find Updates to refresh the available updates.

Also, please check:

System → Update → Update Sites

and make sure the JoomShaper update site is enabled.

If the update still does not appear, you can download the latest template package from your JoomShaper account and update it manually as an alternative solution.
