Previously you gave us the download and usage option for EasyStore(v.2.0.0). Now you provide fix version (2.0.1) and want us to pay. Is this a con job?

Hello Murugappan,

I completely understand your concern, but please rest assured this is not a con job!

EasyStore Free is a completely free, standalone version meant to help you run your store without hidden fees.

The reason you are seeing a payment prompt for version 2.0.1 is that it belongs to the EasyStore Pro track, which includes advanced premium features and dedicated updates.

If you wish to continue using the free version, you can always re-download the core extension directly from the EasyStore Free Download Page.

-Best regards

If that is so, then what happen to the fix that was applied to version 2.0.1? You are giving away a bug version free?

I completely understand how that would look concerning, If you are experiencing a specific bug in version 2.0.1, please let us know the details, you can create a new forum post and give details there. Our team will take care of it.

You always dont seem to understand English. Let me give you in baby language.

  1. You gave EasyStore 2.0.0 for free
  2. Now i see there is EasyStore 2.0.1 which is bug fix version
  3. When i want to download the version 2.0.1 you want me to buy
  4. So, is the Free offer a con job to get us to buy the later version?
  5. Are we stuck with the free version 2.0.0 and cannot get any updates?

Which con job is this?

Hi Mehtaz,

I noticed that both SP Page Builder Lite and EasyStore Free can only be downloaded after creating an account and accessing the Downloads section. If you visit the product pages directly, you are mainly guided to the Pro versions.

Is this an intentional decision, or is it something you plan to improve in the future? ;)

I think making the free downloads easier to discover could help avoid misunderstandings like this one.

Hi Martin,

Thank you for your valuable feedback, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

You are absolutely right. If you have a JoomShaper account, accessing the download links from the Downloads section is more straightforward. However, we'd like to clarify that creating an account or logging in is not mandatory to download our free extensions.

You can download them directly using the following links:

We also agree that not having these download links easily discoverable from the product pages can lead to a less-than-ideal user experience and potential misunderstandings. We appreciate you pointing this out, and I will share your feedback with the relevant team for review. Hopefully, we can improve this experience in a future update.

Thank you again for your suggestion and for helping us improve our products and services.

Hi Martin,

Thank you for the assistence. I faced the same situation. When i visit the product pages directly, I was always guided to the Pro versions. That is the reason for my post.

One simple question, where can i find the documentation on the differences between the free version and pro version? Appreciate your help.

It feels like getting blood from stone with this Mehtaz. Nine out of ten times she has given me wrong answers before and successfully continues even now.
