Mobile View Issues

Good day
Why is the standard mobile portrait view in the frontend editor based on SD resolution of 480px? It looks nothing like any modern day phone so it isn't helpful when optimising for mobile view.
Also, I've see this posted a few times with no resolution. Why does the mobile view on mobile and preview add extra spaces to the right and the left when there is no margin or padding anywhere?

Thanks for contacting us. The 480px mobile portrait breakpoint used in frontend editor (and the underlying Helix Framework) is a legacy standard inherited from earlier foundational UI frameworks. You can check this forum post below:
