Missing Items

Hi Support, I'm trying to understand SP simple portfolio which seems to have an issue.
So using the module on my homepage with a max of 8 items, it seems that it shows 8 items Globally. Which means, in my category X shows 2 and Y shows 6. Is this a bug ? Because logically, if I say 8, it should be 8 in each category. I have tried searching the forums for a solution but not sure i'm getting it.

Shared in private content. As you will see, the max is 8 items. What the module is doing, it's assigning 2 to one category and 6 to the other, totalling 8.
