I’m having an issue with SP Page Builder Dynamic Article Index / Article Detail.

Setup: Joomla 5.3.3 SP Page Builder Pro 6.8.0 Helix Ultimate updated Template: Artolio

The Dynamic Article Index works correctly and pulls Joomla article data such as title, category, date, intro text and image.

However, when I click an article from the Index, it opens the normal Joomla article layout instead of the SP Page Builder Dynamic Article Detail page.

I have tested:

default SP Page Builder Article Index default Article Detail page Dynamic Title linked to the Article Detail page Dynamic Media linked to the Article Detail page default Read More link very basic Detail page with only a test heading

The correct article is being passed through, but the Detail layout is not being used.

SP Page Builder Settings > Choose Article Details Page Layout is set to “Use default Dynamic Article Details layout”.

I have also cleared cache and updated SP Page Builder and Helix Ultimate.

The template is Artolio and appears to use an older Helix index.php structure.

Could the Artolio template, its article overrides, or index.php be preventing the Dynamic Article Detail page from rendering?

What should I check next?
