Unable To Remove The Featured Image

I want to replace the featured image of a blog post in my Joomla 5.4.8 site (using the Gourmand template, PageBuilder 6.8.0, and Helix Ultimate 2.2.10), but the "Remove Image" button isn't working. Can I safely delete that image from the media folder (including thumbnails) and replace it with a new image of the same name (uploaded via Media)? I was under the impression that this featured image issue had been resolved in Helix 2.2.9, but that doesn't seem to be the case for me (I downloaded the latest version from the JoomShaper site just two weeks ago). Can someone help me solve this in a simple way ? Thank you in advance Luc Buis

I tested an article, and I can successfully delete its featured image from the Blog Media section.
