I had a look and I see it has a mosaic layout, but how do I define the number of columns in the mosaic layout? The option dissapears once I pick that layout. Also, I see the images order in mosaic layout is top to bottom per column, and I need them left to right...

Those docs seem outdated. I have the latest version of the component and I do not have all those options in the component options, I only have "thumbnail width" and "thumbnail height". The rest of the options I can see in the module's configuration, but, as I said, the columns options dissapear when you pick the Mosaic layout. I checked the code and the number of columns (3) is hardcoded.

Also, it seems like the module (mod_speasyimagegallery) does not support default Joomla layout overrides as per https://docs.joomla.org/J3.x:Layout_Overrides_in_Joomla , so how can I properly override the mosaic layout in my theme so I do not lose my changes when upgrading the module?
