Generally, with a template update, template.css gets restored. It is not recommended to edit this file. If you want to add your CSS, then add a custom.css file in templates/indigo/css folder. Then add all your CSS in that file. Please follow this documentation for more.

I know, but I didn't receive or get a template update. I've blocked automatic update for that reason. One of the reason that reset template.css file is doing anything on Template Option. I know this and avoid to make change. There are other reason why it happened. It is not related too to the Joomla Update. It is a mystery.

Hi. If SCSS to CSS option is ON in Advanced Settings, occurs a compilation of code from SCSS files to template.css when save template settings. And it replaces all your code. It does not matter whether you turned off updates or made some changes or not. Therefore, it is better to use custom.css in any case. It is reliable.
